Description
The Grandstream HT881 8-Port Analog FXO Gateway is designed to help businesses create an easy-to-deploy VoIP solution by connecting multiple locations and office devices to hosted or on-premise IP PBX networks.
The HT881 supports 3 SIP profiles through 1 FXS port and 8 FXO ports, providing connectivity between traditional telephone lines and IP-based communication systems. It also features a high-performance NAT router and supports lifeline functionality, allowing the FXS port to be hard-relayed to the FXO port during a power outage.
For business communication environments, the HT881 provides 3-way voice conferencing per port, T.38 Fax-over-IP support, automated and secure provisioning through TR-069, and failover SIP server functionality. Strong AES encryption with a security certificate per unit provides additional protection for communication and device configuration.
Advanced Telephony Features
The HT881 supports Caller ID display or blocking, call waiting, flash, blind or attended transfer, call forwarding, hold, Do Not Disturb, and 3-way conferencing. It also supports multiple voice codecs, dynamic jitter buffering, and advanced line echo cancellation for VoIP applications.
Fax Over IP
The gateway supports T.38-compliant Group 3 Fax Relay up to 14.4kbps and can automatically switch to G.711 for Fax Pass-through.
Network & Security
The HT881 provides two 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 network interfaces, with one supporting 802.3af PoE-PD. Network speeds can reach up to 1000Mbps in Bridge mode and up to 100Mbps in NAT mode.
Security and management features include SRTP, TLS/SIPS/HTTPS, AES-encrypted provisioning, TR-069, SSH, Syslog, Telnet, and remote web browser management.
