Job Description

Nextgen Solutions Inc., a Charlotte, North Carolina based IT Services and Software Product Development Company has multiple openings for Software Developer. Job duties include: Work on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases as well as new product development from requirements gathering, system analysis, design, testing, user acceptance and implementation of projects. Conduct JAD sessions and interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and data stewards to understand the business process, business rules, and data requirements. Work in complete project life cycle of Analysis, Design, Implementation, Integration Testing, Functional and Regression testing. Manage requirements and managing changes to the requirements through the life cycle of different projects; Prepare RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix) & do requirements analysis Work with UML software for Business Process Modeling, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Collaboration Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and document them using Microsoft Visio Create test case scenarios, testing reports and application functionality for each product release. Work with business team to support their efforts in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and improve business and implementation team turn-around time. Report bugs and test results to team and project management on regular basis. Work with the development team and project management to design the customer view of information. Maintain the data dictionary, including documentation of all definitions, data sources, business meanings and usage of information. Provide Postproduction support to End User in for their testing efforts and improving turnaround time on bug fixes during implementation. Report any roadblocks to the team and seek help to resolve them as soon as possible Create appropriate documentation (e.g., validation requirements documentation, business, and technical design documentation). Requirements: Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Tech, CS, IT or related with at least 12 months of experience. Send resume to: hr@ngstek.com including the JOB ID.
